( uncommon time ) walkthrough part 7

tenuto spring II;

You will not be able to Quick Jump through Tenuto Grove, so progress through the area to get to town.

Go to Luminoso's house for a cutscene.

When you regain control of Alto, go talk to Aubrey to have them rejoin the party.

Returning to Luminoso's house will give you the rest of the cutscene.

libretto & folio II;

Teleport down to the lowest layer and enter the room where you found the Grand Score. Examine the tablet for a cutscene, and examine it again to warp to your new destination.

uncommon time;

The puzzle towards the end of this dungeon is similar to the one encountered in Metronome Tower, and you can probably guess what the answers are based on what the last ones were. Your input method will be the same as it was last time.

Just in case you're having trouble:

West - Summer
East - Autumn

Examining the tablet at the very end of the dungeon will give you a nice helpful reminder that you will not be able to return after progressing past this point and to save in a separate slot in case you get stuck. Generally speaking, you must have Alto at level 30 or above in order to have a chance at success.

Items:
Item Name Location
Treble Lower chest in center island/area 2
Natural x5 Upper chest in center island/area 2
Triple Flat Far left area of upper island/area 2
Allspice Rightmost dead end/area 3
Double Sharp x2 Middle dead end/area 3
Triple Sharp Leftmost dead end/area 3
Red Rose Brooch All the way to the right at top of area 3

music box / jewelry box;

For the remainder of this dungeon, you will be controlling Alto alone. You may want to equip her with an Allspice now.

tier one;

Move forward to cause the event to progress. Eventually you will run into a boss battle.

boss: warp/weft;
Recommended Level: 35

This boss is overall pretty harmless except for its tendency to inflict Silence. Equipping an Allspice or other preventative gear will solve this problem, though. Heal yourself when necessary and keep attacking to win.

After the battle, pick up the shiny item on the ground and then go through the door.

tier two;

From this area onwards there are a number of hidden items available, so investigate each area thoroughly before progressing.

Leave the room you arrived in and go down the hall to the only other room. The door will lock behind you, so investigate everything once and then examine the bed and choose to sleep.

Hidden Items:
Item Name Location
Treble Left drawer/practice room
Natural x5 Middle drawer/practice room
Double Flat Right drawer/practice room
Basil Left potted bush/hall
Oregano Right potted bush/hall
Triple Sharp Large potted plant/bedroom

boss: circle of listlessness;
Recommended Level: 35

This boss is more dangerous the last due to an ability to inflict more than one status effect and a wider range of attacks. If you don't have an Allspice available, equip Alto with something that prevents Paralysis, which is more dangerous right now than Silence.

tier three;

Examine the gate to be prompted to go check the tool shed. You can find a crowbar in the shiny box on the second floor. Go back to the gate to fight the next boss.

Hidden Items:
Item Name Location
Treble Barrel of red roses
Treble Barrel of blue roses
Full Sharp Blue hydrangea bush
Cilantro Middle of 3x3 flower patch
Natural x5 Empty bucket/shed first floor
Triple Flat x2 Leftmost box/shed second floor
Marjoram Bucket against wall/shed second floor

boss: injustice;
Recommended Level: 36

Most of these bosses have similar attack patterns, but their HP, attack power, and magic power are going to keep going up. Try to conserve your most powerful healing items, because you're not out of the woods yet by a long shot.

tier four;

Examine all of the music stands (you can do so in any order, but clockwise from the top is recommended) to make a staircase appear. After the event, keep going forward to fight a boss.

boss: frozen rose,silver thorn;
Recommended Level: 36

This boss actually uses water magic. You can try swapping out your ailment preventative gear with Pearl Drops if it's causing trouble, but you still run a risk of getting Silence or Paralyze, so it's a problem either way.

tier five;

This area is more traditionally dungeon-like than the ones that preceded it, and you will have access to a healing circle and random battles.

Proceed to the antechamber to get a scene about how to open the door, then examine the four rooms and answer all of the riddles correctly (the key items you obtained in the previous tiers will serve as clues). After this, ascend the ladder on the second floor to claim the final key item, and go through the previously locked door.

Save, heal, level grind if you need to, and prepare for a tough boss fight.

Items:
Item Name Location
Triple Flat Top right chest
Triple Sharp Middle right chest
Treble Low right chest
Pearl Drops Middle left chest
Natural Chest next to Pearl Drops
Triple Sharp Chest below Pearl Drops

boss: herald of winter;
Recommended Level: 37

This boss will eat you alive if you let your guard down, so come in prepared. Most of her attacks are water-elemental, and she can get critical hits, so equip the Pearl Drops and try to heal any time you fall beneath 1500 HP. (Ideally you should have nearly 3000 HP for this fight; if your natural total isn't close to this, use your doping items to make up for it.)

The boss is weak to fire, so Alto's Brillante and her first special attack are the way you want to go.

If you lose this battle, you will see Ending 4.

Once you win, you will receive Alto's ultimate weapon and be sent back to Uncommon Time to meet up with the rest of your party.

libretto III;

Backtrack through Uncommon Time and Folio, then go stay at the inn to see a series of cutscenes and get direction on where to go next.
